Meiling Cao has provided us with a recipe for another delicious dish. And it is vegetarian too!

Combine and heat the following in a saucepan:

1 cup of water
2 pieces star anise spice
2 tbs soy souce
2 tbs suger
1 tsp salt
2 tbs honey
3 diced green onion
1 tbs diced fresh ginger
1 tsp mushroom bouillon

Let the sauce boil for 1 min, remove from the heat and let it cool. Add 2 tbs sesame oil to it

Buy 1 pack of frozen bean curd sheet (available in Chinese grocery stores, about $3.99 a pack). Spread out the sheets on table, brush the above sauce on each soybean curd sheet, then wrap two sheets into one roll. Make three rolls total from one package.

Put all three rolls into one non-stick skillet, drip some oil at the bottom of the skillet and fry the “duck” in low heat for 5 minutes on each side. The sauce will be totally absorbed into the vegetarian mock duck!
