Four Pillars of Destiny

A book on relationships by the fengzhui master Jerry King was recently published. Here is the Preface of King’s book by his editor Aileen Lee:

We aspire to construct beautiful sand castles, but one can never stand firm on a foundation carved in loose sand.” – so read the opening hook of an article on Bazi (八字) submitted to my inbox one morning. That was how an Editor-in-Chief of a local news publication found Jerry King: in an ancient Chinese proverb.

However, it wasn’t until Jerry approached me with his manuscript that we really met. His initial pitch for his new piece “The Four Pillars of Destiny: A Guide to Relationships” resonated simplicity: a book to explain and ease the daily complications couples face in relationships. The idea was appealing; After all, they say relationships are also like sand – the tighter you hold it in your hand, the faster the grains will slip away.

But be well warned: this is a challenging read with in-depth theories applicable to life. Jerry is not your Fairy Godmother, nor is he a dream weaver. He believes in stocking up empty arsenals with honest hard work before our wave of good luck flows in. In this book, you will be taught advanced theories on combinations and clashes to decipher the Bazi code of your destiny. This challenging process will be met with a satisfying reward in a whole new perspective on life and relationships.
