They just grunt
They whisper and make snide remarks
But they help you when you are down
They’ve give their last cent to help

Some brothers are dirty
And smelly
They haven’t washed in days
Laundry?
What’s that?
But they can fix things
Renovate your house?
No problem
Fix your car?
Give me your keys
Just pay for the parts

Some brothers have long hair
You look like yeen cheen!
But they have respectable jobs
They make more than me!
They paid for their apartment in cash!
They’ll do ok

And when my parents are gone
I guess we’ll still get together
And laugh and eat chips
And talk about the good ol’ days
When we started being silly
And didn’t care if our mom yelled
And beat us with a ruler
Until it broke
And we just laughed some more
That’s what brothers are for
